Do Libraries Aid Learning? was a conference on approaches
and methods for measuring impact organised jointly with the SCONUL
Advisory Committee on Performance Improvement. It took place at
the Hotel St Nicholas, Scarborough on 9th - 10th December 2002.
The Annual
Lecture and AGM of the Group takes place in March. The Annual
Lecture is open to both members and non-members of the Library &
Information Research Group.
The Library
and Information Research Group has developed a programme of courses,
entitled Making research work
for you. David Haynes (of CILIP Consultancy Services)
and David Streatfield (of Information Management Associates) are
responsible for designing and delivering this programme.
